The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The property itself has charm, and the rooms were clean and well-kept. Some of the staff seemed genuinely well-meaning and tried to be helpful.

Despite informing them it was my partner’s birthday, there was no acknowledgment—not even a simple greeting. It became clear that the staff, while polite, hadn’t been trained in hospitality. We were interrupted multiple times each day by knocks on our door asking if we were coming for meals or informing us about things we hadn’t requested, like an iron or the water fountain. Even after asking them to stop, this continued—including a 7:30am knock on our final morning. It felt invasive and draining. The rooms were also advertised as soundproof, but they absolutely weren’t. We could hear children playing outside and in the shared indoor spaces, TVs from other rooms, and staff running through the corridors. It was far from restful. The buffet breakfast was disappointing: cold, limited, and not replenished even an hour before the scheduled end. No proper coffee (only instant despite repeated requests), and no real juice—just a muskmelon milk mix. Finally, the in-room soap and shampoo dispensers were broken and unusable.

I was looking to escape the city hustle, and Teanest was the perfect retreat. I stayed at Teanest Annexe, and the experience was nothing short of wonderful. The view—especially with clouds rolling over the hills—was breathtaking. The food was delicious, well-served, and comforting. Special thanks to Nithish and Sreejith for their warm hospitality and attentive service; they truly made the stay feel like home. Highly recommend Teanest for anyone looking for peace, nature, and genuine care.

The only downside is that it felt slightly overpriced for what’s offered, but the overall ambiance and service help balance that out. A great choice if you’re seeking peace, comfort, and a touch of nature.
