"The Swimming Pool is tops!!!"

We spent the day at the swimming pool. We wanted a break from the crowds. It is not far from the center of Porto and it is not far from the airport (less than 30 minutes by Uber and only about 35 euros). It was so peaceful and relaxing at the pool. We loved it. The owners/manager are very attentive and welcoming.

The bed is very firm. You do see the dam from the room.

"Neither a rural idyll or close to Porto."

Comfy , clean, functional with a good swimming pool

The view, while interesting because of the river lock, was also of some buildings and there was noticeable noise from the road. The location is 30 minutes plus outside of Porto (as we knew) but in September the local facilities (eat / drink / food shop) are very limited.
