Excellent location, right in the heart of the national park, surrounded by rivers, waterfalls, mountains, canyons - numerous hiking options! The hosts are there to help you when needed. They can organize tasty cooked meals (including vegetarian and vegan!) for a very reasonable price - breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Also, you can negotiate a lift in a 4x4 for up to 5 people (if you don't want to hike all the way, or you want to be picked up somewhere). The apartment is clean, spacious, and the kitchen is well equipped. The house has a tidy garden, it is set just outside the village frozen in past. Altogether, a picture perfect setup! You can arrive by (any kind) of car, the road is good. Keep in mind, the village is tiny and there's only one small/basic shop (open at random times), and no restaurants for miles around.

Great quiet place with a lot of hiking trails of various difficulties going to various waterfalls and even a long track all the way to Midžor. Place is very quiet and nicely isolated, so if you are a fan of nature Stara Planina (Old Mountain) is highly recommended. Swinging on the swings while listening to river and watching the sunset is a great end to a day spent in the mountain. There is a canteen in the village with pretty decent food. Not fancy but traditional home-made Serbian food. And you can agree on the times of the meals. Bit expensive for what it offers, but saves you on preparing food and doing the dishes.

If you contact the owners personally and not go trough the booking site you can actually get a better price. Something we wish we knew. Just a personal preference but the beds could have been more comfortable.

Vrlo cisto, komforno, mirno, idealno mesto za odmor. Grejanje odlicno (za sve zimogrozljive). Put je malo uzan, ali je dobar. Domaćini i hrana izuzetna.

Everything was great! The house is situated in an ideal location for outdoor activities and exploring of many natural beauties of this region. Accomodation is spacious, warm, cosy, functional and clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this accommodation to all nature lovers.
