Gilmour's Entry Apartment

The appartment is in excellent shape, extremely clean and has very good equipment. The location is perfectly calm but still central to reach supermarket, shops, or university within 5 minutes. The parking lot is very convenient. The landlady was very friendly and tries to welcome and introduce guest personally, she is very responsive and provides assistance in requests. We can recommend this 100% for a stay for 2-4 persons and we would be happy to return to the place! Thank you for hosting us!

Lovely property that was very comfortable to stay in. Ideally located for main Edinburgh attractions.

Clean space. Had everything we needed (e.g., dishwasher and laundry soap, lots of towels, lots of pillows, extra toilet paper) and extra little touches (e.g., milk in the fridge, cookies, teas). The location was great and very walkable to the “touristy” places, but still quiet enough for bedtime. It only took about 5-7 minutes to walk to the Royal Mile. Felt safe in the area too.

Not in the control of the apartment owners, but at night we could hear the footsteps, voices, and music from the tenants upstairs. If you are a really light sleeper, this might be something to consider (or just bring ear plugs).

We truly appreciated the "home like" comforts of the Flat/Apartment, the amenities, and the "tucked away" from the main streets - as it was a cozy little piece of Solis after a full adventure day!

We had the most amazing time at Gilmour's Entry. Wendy was an absolute star of a hostess! She was kind, attentive, helpful and made our stay really special from start to finish. The location was truly fantastic — perfectly situated, with the Royal Mile only a couple of minutes away which was incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The flat was a real gem — cosy, clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with tons of appliances at our disposal that made the stay even more comfortable. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Prima appartement voorzien van alle gemakken en met alles wat je maar nodig kunt hebben. Wendy zorgt dat alles in voorraad is. Grote klasse. Appartement ligt een rustige omgeving vlakbij centrum van Edinburgh. Alles is op loopafstand of met het ov te bereiken. Ontvangst door Wendy was uitstekend. Bij vragen kon je haar eenvoudig bereiken.
