d'primahotel Lagoi Bintan

Generally, we got what we expected. D'Primahotel, being on an isolated island and was not located in the prime area of the Lagoi enclave, provided the services we expected. It is clean and has pretty much all the facilities you would need. The added point of this hotel is that it is located very near the market which has a foodcourt area (the pujasera). So we had a good access to good indonesian food for reasonable price. Something that I am sure we would not be able to get if we stayed in the prime area. Additional note is that I am lucky to have been in contact with Joshua (one of the receptionists there). He provided information and assistance that I needed to support me during my stay there and also to get around Bintan, and also especially with my things for the triathlon.

What I did not like is that we were provided with a room facing to the back of the building which was facing to the back of another building with a distance of no more than 3 meters away- it was not a pretty view. The view was just facing a wall with a few windows. If we did not have our curtain down, any people from those windows could easily see what we were doing in our room. So we had to put down the curtain most of the time.

We stayed for 1 night. This is our 3rd time stay in this hotel

This time, it's quite disappointed. We booked 2 rooms. Room 1: the faucet for hand wash broken Room 2: room not clean. There were cockroach eggs. The toilet bowl not clean (shit still in there)

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, auch lovely people. The room was so clean, nice bathroom and air conditioning. They drove us to the ferry for free
