Stained carpet,dated bathroom and furniture.

Easy parking. Pub next door. Cheap and easy uber ride to town. Easy to find. It was clean and tidy. Friendly staff

The hotel was easy to find and next to a pub but we did not go in as arrived to late. Communication with hotel was excellent. Staff were great. No lift and there are 3 floors, our room was on the top floor. The room was a bit dated but clean and tidy. Bathroom was clean but took a while for water to come to the taps. If you just need somewhere to put your head for the night OK hotel the price was excellent

Staff were very friendly and helpful with information about public transport. The bathroom had lovely splash back sheeting on the walls around the bath and the shower was very powerful and good hot water.

The hotel is looking very tired reception looks like something from an old movie and the rooms are really dated need modernising. The draws were falling apart i opened it and decide not to use it cos it was really mucky inside just left our stuff on top of the draws. The fire alarm woke us at 8am the morning of us checking out someone had the shower on and the bathroom door open not good when we wanted a lay in.

Good location approx 20 mins from croft race circuit. There was plenty of off-road parking, which could accommodate a trailer. Reception open till late. Very friendly and pleasant reception, man. Lots of little things were present which are absent in much more expensive hotels eg sealed in bags plastic cups in bathroom, lots of plug sockets at different heights, ideal for disabled guests, plenty places to hang robes and towels in bathroom, great blackout curtains at the right length so didnt block heat from radiator in winter months, semi skimmed and whole milk on hospitality tray, use of a fridge in the corridor. Instructions how to use lock on bathroom door so you dont get locked in. Literally right next door to a pub with food, including breakfast. Two double beds in the room, all linen and towels spotless. Bed comfortable , slept well. Good price, but I would have preferred to pay more and not have the negatives listed below.

Public areas are very grubby, particularly doors, glass, and handles. It's really bad. Smell of vomit near reception, carpets in corridors very tired The bathroom In the room was quite dirty behind the door. The carpet in the bedroom just looked and felt grubby. Didn't want to step on it barefoot. Such a shame as this is just general maintenance and housekeeping. Charge more and invest in new carpet and better domestic staff.
