Negombo homestay by nisal

The place is managed by Mr.Nisal a fine gentlament and his mother is very hospitable and welcoming. The peaceful environment is what I enjoyed the most the room was neat spacious and had proper AC and was just as comfortable as home. The food was amazing and homely. we defenitely recommend this place to others, will be looking forward to going there again during my next vacation to Sri lanka.

Chilling in the evening of my arrival, watching the fireflies! On a previous trip to Sri Lanka I stayed in a ‘budget’ hotel in Negombo after my flight. Now I wish I’d discovered Nisal’s place earlier! At less than half the price I'd paid for the hotel his homestay is comfortable and has everything you need. Nisal and his mum are lovely people and Nisal went out of his way to help me with some planning and accommodation tips for the next step of my tour. Thank you! I only wish I could have taken up the offer of supper cooked by Nisal's mum!

No negatives

When I found out that I was their first guest ever I was really surprised, since it was one of the nicest stays i’ve been during the last months travelling. Nisal and his mother are the kindest people you’ll find. He was helping me out with whatever plans I had in mind. The room is precisely what you want if you get a flight after; a big bed in a big room with your own bathroom and most importantly it was all very clean. (With AC) I also enjoyed the food that they served; a great quantity of local dishes. I would definitely recommend this stay if you’re in Negombo!
