We arrived at the property at 2:50 pm for a 3:00 pm check in. I called the property manager at least 7 times and was either hung up on or couldn’t get through to leave a message. Also ,No one in the surrounding area heard of this B and B hotel accommodation at the address listed on our receipt. A young lady living at the address put her head out the window to also tell us she never heard of this place and she had a “flat” in the building. Another woman came out from the adjacent building and also tried to help. At appx 3:20 pm a harried looking gentlemen (helper for the property owners?)pulls up in his car and he too tried several times to call the owner so we could access the property we booked. He too couldn’t get through after numerous attempts. He DID not seem surprised by this !!!After waiting in the cold for over 1 hour, he let us into the property. We were then told we would receive a code to access both doors of the building- the front door and apartment door. It was now after 4:00 pm. We were told we would receive a text or email with 5 minutes. This NEVER happened. At around 5:00 pm we had no choice but to exit the premises that we had NO Access to and were basically trapped inside . Luckily we found a nearby b and b that accepted us.
