Central Villa with Garden

The host was excellent and very helpful. We arrived early and he let us leave our luggage in the villa while it was being cleaned. And we left late and he let us check out late which really made a difference. He also suggested some excellent cafes for us.

Loved it all. Can't really think of anything we didn't like.

Fabulous location near river and pathway to old town. Spacious home on several levels with plenty of room for our group of 7. Host very responsive. Kitchen well stocked. Had a wonderful visit, would stay here again. Able to park all 3 of our cars in driveway.

House was quite cold when we arrived and host was not nearby but tried to help problem solve via chat and sent housekeeper over to have a look. For reasons that weren’t entirely clear, the heat eventually started working and we were comfortable. Leak from tub (bathroom with tub jets) should be fixed, soaked a floor towel each time. More seating (if possible) in living room would be nice so we could all sit there at once. Not deal breakers.

Excellent host and apartment! Great location, lots of amenities, thoughtfully written notes, ample parking, and a cozy yard to relax and play.

We loved how big and comfortable this property really is. Everybody had their own room, there is a huge living room and a big dining room, perfect for a bigger family/company. There is also a huge garden and a nice shed in the garden where we hanged out at night. The beds were very comfortable and the climate in the house was 10/10. The location is just perfect which is on the Ljubljanica river and its super super close to the main square (Prešerernov square in the city center). We have an electric car we charged it at the house. We loved the hospitality of the owner since he was very envolved and gave us great recommendations based on the preferences! We had a blast and we highly reccommend this house. 10/10 and thank you Jan once again! ♥️✌🏻

Beds not comfortable at all, linen was bad quality, no Ac the villa was so hot, fan is not enough when the weather hot,no toiletries. Cleaning was not professional ,to match the price it need to improve the quality

It was a lovely clean property with plenty of space for our family of 5 adults.

Central Vila is a gem in Ljubljana, especially for a group or few couples that travel together. The bedrooms on the top floors offer privacy despite traveling in a group, while the garden and living room area offer large space for discussions or games. The parking has space for multiple cars which is really hard to find in Ljubljana. Also, the location is great, it's some 15 minutes easy walk by the river to the center square, while few bars/pubs are mere minutes away. Not to forget the host, Jan, is very welcoming and helpful.

Jan's villa is absolutely perfect. Communication was great from the booking up to leaving. The villa itself is amazing, four rooms with great beddings, a great kitchen, cosy and spacious living room, a wonderful garden where we spent most of our evenings. Everything was spotless and a few kind attentions from Jan were really appreciated. The parking is a real bonus in this central area - the villa is so central, you can get to the historic centre in under 10 minutes of a pleasant walk by the river (special mention to the Sunday morning flea market). Also, the small bar under the bridge right next to the villa is an amazing place to relax away from the crowds. All in all, we will miss Jan's place and are looking forward to coming back to this wonderful country.
