INGBGBUnfortunately, we cannot recommend this property due to a very serious safety incident that occurred during our stay. Yesterday morning, while leaving the property to reach our car and go into Edinburgh city centre, we were suddenly confronted by an XL Bully dog inside the premises, off-leash and without a muzzle. The dog aggressively attacked our dog, Chaos, dragging him along the ground and violently shaking him in an attempt to bite him. We had to physically throw ourselves onto the dog to make it release ours. Our young daughter, was present and witnessed the entire attack. She was crying uncontrollably and was left extremely traumatised. The thought that the dog could have attacked a child instead is terrifying. The owners of the XL Bully showed no remorse and did not apologise. On the contrary, they threatened us with death when we said we would call the police. We immediately informed reception. While the staff member was polite and supportive, she admitted that the property was not aware that an XL Bully was staying there and stated they would not have accepted the booking had they known. This highlights a serious lack of safety controls. Allowing guests to bring dogs without verifying the breed or enforcing leash and muzzle rules creates a dangerous environment for families, children, and other pets. We were extremely lucky that the situation did not end far worse. This was a frightening experience that could have had tragic consequences.

GBVery picturesque location. The static caravan I stayed in was kept in immaculate condition and was more than adequate for the number of guests. Felt very welcomed.
As much as the location is breathtaking, it is a bit of a pain to get to, and depending on traffic is often more than 30 minutes outside of Glasgow. I suppose it comes hand-in-hand with staying in a static caravan in Scotland, but in the hard rain and strong gusts, it did feel as though the caravan could have taken off at times.
GBStayed for 2 nights in the roman pod. Was brilliant for our little family to stay in comfy and warm as well. We got stuck on the grass and the staff were so helpful and got us out with no bother. Couldn't thank them enough. We will be back to visit again.
