NZNZGreat location
NZMy family and I had simply the best time in this incredibly well thought-out retreat. There was something for everyone and I'd like to think we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest extent. From the 3 different kinds of pools (swimming pool, spa pool, hot tub) to the BBQ, fully equipped kitchen (to whip up just about anything you fancy), and the board games to entertain in the evenings - there was never a moment where we weren't entertained. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and welcoming (even allowing us a late check-out). We all simply had the best time and I cannot recommend this place more to families or even larger groups. If you can manage to go during the off-season like we did and get some favourable weather your way - I can't think of a better getaway.
Wifi was a bit iffy at times - but who needs it here? No complaints!!

NZGreat bedrooms with comfy beds and heated blankets. Well stocked kitchen. Hot tub and pool were great fun. Short walk to beach.
No milk provided on arrival so we had to head out straight away. Pool was starting to crack in places and it wasn’t very clean on the bottom.

Not much to do in the town. Room a bit too small for 5 people, dining table is outside at the front BBQ area. No sea view.
NZThe property was so peaceful and private even though it was within a complex. Having our own spa pool was extra special and the heated swimming pool in the Winter was awesome to be able to use. We really enjoyed the property, great covered outdoor area awesome for playing card games and sitting and relaxing, large kitchen and the shower had good water pressure! Not to mention just a skip over the road to the beach! very close to town also. The property was nicely furnished and had everything you needed.
One of the rooms bed was extremely hard like lying on the floor - found this very uncomfortable sleeping and found it hard to get a good night sleep. The bed needs a pillow top added to it. The bed in the other room was perfect. There was also no railing going up the set of stairs to access the property - we found that quite dangerous and not very good for a sick or frail person to easily access the property.
