Shared house on Southmead

good value for money, easy to find parking and easy check in. was also clean and bed was comfortable

room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, it did not go away and seemed to stick to everything. there was also one bathroom shared between many rooms which was a little stressful

The beds were very comfortable

The keys were supposed to be in a lock box, but when we arrived at the house, there was no one there, and the keys were not in the lock box. The house was just open and we had to just walk in, which didn't make us feel very safe. The keys were just in doors, so we had to guess which rooms were ours. They keys were just held together with some plastic wrapper. The back door was just open also, and no shut or locked all night There was another guest smoking weed which left a bad smell.

Large room

Arrived 11.30pm No codes were emailed until next day to give me key access so I had to phone up No one spoke English. No idea of any rules or what I could or couldn’t do, ie I didn’t know if I was allowed in kitchen or make a coffee etc I didn’t know whether I could bring back someone from my course to talk through the work 6 bedrooms, some seemed to have 3 people in, just one toilet Toilet light on a timed motion sensor which only came on during night and so dull inside bathroom at other times I didn’t like idea that everyone left front door unlocked permanently So many comings and goings during the night which was unsettling But. The bed was comfy and the room clean
