The apartment is well-maintained, spacious, and located in a prime area. Maria is friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival, everything was clearly explained, and there was a book full of recommendations—plus a treat of cookies. The apartment is just a stone’s throw from Madeira Plaza, which has a supermarket. From there, it’s an easy walk into the city center with plenty of restaurants and cafés. For a small fee, you can park your car in an underground garage just two streets away, which is very convenient. A great place to stay if you're planning to spend the night in Funchal.
