Royal nest villa Pitsidia

The combo of privacy and silence yet proximity to beaches and tavernas was incredible. The owner is very helpful and kind, the check in process was super smooth. We prioritize silence and calm at night which often means staying off grid or very far away from cities but in this case we got exactly what we were looking for (and more) while being 2 minutes by car from the local town centre. The villa is very nice and modern, well equipped and has a great pool in the backyard. From the upper terrace you can watch the sea and the coast, which makes the whole stay unforgettable. As a bonus, we had some cat visitors (probably local cats) that were very friendly but never stepped inside, even when the door was open so I think they’ve been trained or are used to tourists. We’ve stayed in multiple different places in Crete and this might be quite possibly our favorite stay. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Royal Nest Villa was a great experience! Perched on top of a hill, the villa offers a beautiful panoramic view of the sea in front, hills all around, and tall mountains in the distance :) We loved having our coffee in the morning on the terrace and taking in the beauty all around. It's also super quiet, only the cicadas keeping us company - perfect for romantic evenings under a starlit sky The villa is modern and well distributed, with a thoughtful layout - you can really feel at home and we feel it's perfect for a longer stay. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped for cooking, has everything you need, including a high-quality dishwasher. The rooms are spacious enough, with plenty of storage spaces and, most importantly, very good beds. We slept very well. The swimming pool is very well maintained, the water is cool, perfect for hot days when we were too late to catch the morning sun on the beach. You can get to Komos Beach in 5–8 minutes by car or 20 by foot. Matala Beach is also a 10 mins drive away. There is also a quiet, scenic walk to nearby Kalamaki. Konstantinos was an amazing host — very responsive, attentive and willing to go the extra mile to fulfill our requests. For us, the choice of staying here was totally worth it, we felt so lucky to catch a last minute availability and we definitely want to return.
