Good value for money relatively close to the beach away from the more crowded / touristy areas of the region but a good base if exploring the area. The town itself (Vico del Gargano) has an interesting historic centre and the Osteria da Miki, a family run business based in the castle grounds was a great location to enjoy some really good food. The apartment itself was clean, uncluttered and contemporary in feel with a fridge that was greatly appreciated. Loved the skylight which allowed you to stare at the stars (very clear skies here) while lying in bed. Good breakfast with fresh pastries, bread and fruit. Given the otherwise careful attention to detail in the rooms, wasn’t sure about having the small fridge just sitting on a chair nor the mdf wardrobe with no doors and a handful of hangers. Lots of space in the room but could have done with a bit more actual storage space. There was a very beautiful, very long sideboard in the room but unfortunately couldn’t access the drawers for storage. This would have been perfect. Finally some issues with comms due to different channels being used by host and client. If the booking is made through Booking.Com or AirBnB, it’s reasonable to assume that that’s where any initial messages would appear. If a different channel is to be used, just say in the first message what the preference is, e.g. WhatsApp or Messenger. Should be smooth sailing after that.

Two days in beautiful Vico del Gargano, staying at the lovely Gargára B&B... The host was amazing—always available, incredibly kind, and with a great sense of humor. The breakfast was satisfying, with a real highlight being the delicious fruits from their garden. The apartment was spotless, spacious for two people, and in a convenient location—just 2 minutes from cafés and bars (don't miss Bar Gargano Dry Gin for fantastic local gin) and about 5 minutes from the old town. Very easy free parking as well. Thank you so much!
