Kinlay Hostel Eyre Square - Best Hostel in Ireland 2025

I found Galway most welcoming and everyone in a good mood despite the rain. There was a French Group who I found very interesting. It was all in all a good experience and I enjoyed walking to the Seafront. Great Athmosphere.

I just had a one night stay and as I worked for the Airlines in the past I dislike expensive hotels. Thank you again. James

Prachtige ligging hartje Galway. Goede bereikbaarheid, schoon, fijn personeel. Geen trappenlopen. Alles heel overzichtelijk op één verdieping. Zou er zo weer heen gaan. Galway is een bruisende stad met veel gezellige pubs met live muziek.

‘s Morgens al vroeg verkeer. Maar dat kan niet anders, dat kun je verwachten in het centrum van de stad. Als ik het geluid kan plaatsen is het goed en slaap ik verder. Als je dat niet kunt, gaan voor een andere lokatie of het raam potdicht houden.

Posto molto centrale, personale gentilissimo pronto ad ogni esigenza, buona colazione, pulito.

Anche se ogni camera ha un bagno sono comunque pochi in quanto le camere ospitano tante persone.

Cleanliness

Couldn't sit upright in the bunkbeds

Amazing location. Really kind people. The beds have good curtains and there is a locker under the bed (do bring your own lock though).

The breakfast is rather small

Really good hostel nearby everything. Breakfast is also the best hostel breakfast provided I’ve had yet at a hostel. Get their overnight oats. And they provide events and day tours. Rooms were clean.

The beds are hard and somewhat uncomfortable and it gets really warm in the room even with the window open (but then you get chatty (actual) birds all throughout the night lol).

The staff are friendly, access to the city is easy & walkable, and rooms were nice.

Not being able to enter the kitchen after a certain time is frustrating when you’re irregular sleeping patterns & wake after it closes
