"Super disappointed, our trip in Como was a disaster!!!"

DO NOT BOOK THIS APARTMENT DURING SUMMER!!! It was spacious but super hot, there is no air conditioning or fans or any cooling devices. The only plus is the location which is close to train station and many supermarkets nearby.

DO NOT BOOK THIS APARTMENT DURING SUMMER!!! We arrived the apartment with temperature over 38 degrees, all windows closed, super stuffy. We were all sweating like crazy. Then we informed the agent (she told us that she is not the owner) and after few hours, she told us nothing can be done since she couldn’t get hold of the owner. Why would they rent out the apartment during summer knowing the temperature gets so high in Italy and not able to have contact with the owner? Why couldn’t they provide any alternatives e.g. fans to help cooling down the apartment? In addition, there were so many mosquitoes that we got bitten. Again the agent said nothing she can do. There were not a single mosquito repellent installed. Further, no advance instructions about not using electric appliances at the same time, and power went out. Once again informed the agent, and no response for hours, even though the solution could have been fixed in 5 min. But because of no response we were left without power for hours. Then most horrible was that their apartment alarm malfunctioned suddenly, and in the middle of the night went off for hours, keeping us up most of the night and the neighbors am sure. Overall, the stay in the apartment ruined our vacation in Como. It affected our daily sleep, and it was super frustrating when you are paying quite a high price per night and get nothing in service when there were multiple issues.

Our stay in this apartment was fantastic. The apartment is very spacious and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, making it ideal for large families or groups. The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk from the train station—and the residential complex is upscale, quiet, and offers private parking. The host was cooperative and very respectful. There was some minor noise in the morning due to elevator renovation work, but it was temporary and didn’t affect the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
