Mandarin Oriental Muscat and the beautiful Omani hospitality… honestly it cannot get more courteous than this. Every single request was handled with a smile and genuine care. A huge thank you starting from the warm check-in with Tunu, to Maryam behind the phone who never once got tired of my endless requests 😄, David at the pool, Ammar and the valet team, and Sultan for the super late checkout and amazing hospitality. Thank you Oman, thank you Mandarin Oriental Muscat. You definitely deserve more than 10/10. Can’t wait to come back again

Breakfast buffet was nice and well assorted with option of a la carte eggs and healthy choices

There was only one option for dinner as it was EID (night buffet was not open) so limited choices unless you want to go out of the hotel. No too many available options on the surroundings as it's a residential area far from city center

The pools, staff and breakfast was amazing

Suite was wide enough and friendly hotel staff.

We had a sea view suite that was spacious and overlooked the water. Truly breathtaking. The beds were super comfortable and the service was attentive. Even though it was a busy time because of Eid holidays and they were receiving a much higher number of visitors (including at their restaurants) they provided excellent service and offered extra perks to keep us happy and comfortable. The food at the breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. And room service food arrived quickly. When I was struggling to connect my phone to the tv screen to AirPlay something they even sent a technical team to install a new Apple TV machine to make it work. This level of service beats other Mandarin Orientals I’ve stayed in including Paris.

The area near the beach had mosquitos and the ground was boiling hot because the weather was really hot. I think a different landscaping solution with less grass and materials that reflect rather than absorb the heat would leave guests with feet that aren’t scorched every time they went to swim!! They would have a lot more people using the beach area even when it’s hot if the design was better. Other than that, honestly nothing to report. The hotel was excellent in every way.
