"Lovely house and location, just needs a spring clean. Thank you."

7.0

Beautiful characterful property

Our room at the top of the house needed a really good clean, it was very dusty, the glass light shade thick with dust also under the beds. The kettle was dangerously placed using an extension lead, causing me to scald myself when it fell on me. The shower had a big hole in the floor just outside the shower and the toilet was not clean when we arrived. The owner was very kind and gave us a lift to Dursley, and the food was excellent , especially the homemade granola.

It was cosy and had an olde world feel with low beams and vintage art work.

"Fantastic (apart from the locks) everything met expecrations"

10.0

The bed was fantastic, the man who owns this property is lovely and fantastic help, there's tea and coffee provided, the breakfast is highly reccomended, the shower is great with a supply of body wash and shampoo, everything you need for a great stay really

The only thing I would change is there are no locks on the doors which is a bit uneasy

"Charming countryside escape"

10.0

Charming spot in North Nibley - our hosts were super friendly and provided a great stay. Breakfast was delish, and the previous night we popped down the road to the local pub to enjoy their really good curry offering.

All lovely - no complaints.

We stayed for two nights at this property and were not happy with several things. Firstly, having arrived in the dark, there was no lighting along the uneven rutted path and it was difficult to see where we were going, even when the host was ahead of us with a torch shining forward. Secondly, in our room, it looked like coffee grounds had been spilt down the wall and over the carpet next to the bedside table with no attempt to clean it. Thirdly, at 01:40 in the morning on our first night, we were awakened by the host's dog scratching and whining on the door of the next room. The whining eventually turned to barking until access was granted. Finally, on pulling back the duvet on our last morning, we found nail clippings in the bed which begs the question, had the bed linen been changed after the last occupants? We spoke to the host about the barking dog and he didn't appear too concerned and offered no apology. He informed us that he was going away that day and his son would be doing breakfast the next morning.

"Homely, great breakfast and really good quality"

10.0

Really liked the location, the quality of the accommodation along with the quality breakfast and homely feel. We ate locally but based upon the quality of the breakfast and choice I would expect the offered evening meal option to also be excellent Overall, felt very homely and we will stay again.

The only issue would be a suggestion to have better signage so its easier to find, and more lighting outside to help those arriving in the dark

"Overnight dog friendly stay by the Cotswold Way."

7.0

Quirky B and B near the Cotswold Way. This was dog friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The pot of tea when we arrived was much appreciated. The granola at breakfast was lovely as was the cooked breakfast.

As it was an old property the bathroom door had warped and didn’t shut fully. This wasn’t a problem as we were the only guests.
