The room is old style, with old furniture. The bathroom small, but in Taormina houses this is what it is. From the window we could see the sea in the distance, but in the close view, the yard area next to the hotel, unkempt and dirty.

I cannot rate B & B Sorriso highly enough!! If you choose another B&B then you are missing out!! Fausta and her mother are the next-level of hosts. Every morning was perfect and the next level of relaxation thanks to a combination of sipping fresh coffee, taking in the views and listening to opera while indulging in the breakfast feast put in front of us.

The host was absolutely lovely! While she spoke only Italian, she clearly takes great pride in ensuring guests have a pleasant experience and a comfortable stay. Breakfast was wonderful - fresh mozzarella, home baked croissants, bread, cured meats, boiled eggs and lots of coffee; our plates were never empty! We had the room on the top floor (up a short flight of narrow stairs and had a gorgeous view over Taoromina). The location is great as it is a 3 minute walk to the main street and 10 minute walk to the amphitheater- you get to be close to the attractions without being in the noise of the main street of Taormina.

The wifi cut in and out in our room which wasn’t a big issue as we were our most of the time and it worked very well in the breakfast area

I booked this accommodation last minute and have no regrets! The room was comfortable, I had a great view and everything was clean. The breakfast was great! Eggs, fruit, coffee, brioche. The best feature was the host, what a warm, welcoming lady. She truly goes above and beyond.

It can be a little hard to find in terms of signage, but if you keep your eyes open you will find it when walking up the hill.

Very centrally located. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable.

This isn’t a negative but more an FYI, the owner only speaks Italian. She does have a friend she can call if you need to ask a specific question in English.

Felt very homely and welcoming from the minute you walk through the door. Very caring and accommodating host. Great for couples or solo travellers.
