Spring Family Guest House

La famille est accueillante, ils ont a cœur de bien faire. La maison est très confortable et prendre un thé dans le jardin a été un délice. Le lit etait moins dur que dans les autres hôtels dans lesquels nous avons séjourné en ouzbekistan. Nous avons randonné dans les montagnes autour de la maison. Il n y a pas de balisage mais on se repère bien, le village étant toujours visible. Et en plus les repas etaient délicieux! On s est sentis sereins dans ce village.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour chez Ilxom et sa famille qui m'ont manifesté beaucoup d'attention et de gentillesse, chacun à sa façon. Même si mon anglais est assez limité, il a pris soin de donner des réponses intéressantes à mes questions sur la vie et l'histoire du village . Le cadre est magnifique : la maison est située un peu au-dessus du village, proche d'un ruisseau et entourée, en cette saison d'un verger fleuri et de montagnes verdoyantes. Comme il a malheureusement beaucoup plu et qu'il faisait assez froid, je n'ai pas beaucoup profité du jardin mais de la chaleur du poêle, des repas familiaux et des moments avec les enfants très attachants . Je regrette juste de ne pas avoir osé aller prendre un cours de plov car il était délicieux comme tout ce qui m'a été proposé ! Merci pour votre accueil inoubliable !

I had a wonderful experience. Ilkhom and his family were incredibly welcoming and kind, and we enjoyed the delicious food they prepared. The guesthouse is surrounded by beautiful mountains, and we loved hiking in the area. I couldn’t reach the very top because I accidentally took the wrong path, but the trail was amazing nonetheless. I also saw many sheep, donkeys, cows, and horses along the way. When I close my eyes, the scenery comes back to life.

Nous avons passé une merveilleux séjour dans cette famille ! Une meilleure chambre que celle que nous avions réservée nous a même été proposée ! Chaque moment passé avec les membres de la famille était génial. Nous avons beaucoup écouté, discuté et ri ensemble. La nourriture était délicieuse ! La balade à la cascade est très jolie.

Herzlicher Empfang, wundervoller Aufenthalt! Vielen Dank an Ilhom und seine ganze Familie. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden bestens umsorgt. Auch mit den Leuten im Dorf hatten wir sehr nette Begegnungen.

自然のすぐ近くで過ごせてリフレッシュ出来た。午前は山をトレッキングして、ランチの後はプールで泳ぎ、あとは木陰でゆっくりお茶や果物食べて過ごして休暇を満喫出来た。

While this family-run guesthouse in the mountains near Samarkand is hardly a resort –dad spent the night sleeping in the hallway on a mat—you will be treated quite kindly and lavishly during your stay with the best the family has to offer. There are only a few rooms here, so even when completely booked there will be you, two other guests, and whichever family members happen to be staying there at the time. Basically, there’s not a lot to do apart from hiking the nearby mountains, lazing about under the fruit trees, and eating. Food is wholesome and homemade; accommodations can be made for vegetarians. Great place to spend a relaxing weekend in the Uzbekistan countryside.

The owner is a nice guy but overextends himself. The day before our departure, he offered to drive us back to Samarkand but then spent the morning and afternoon driving other guests to-and-fro across the area, even to Shahrisabz. By late afternoon he was exhausted and the best he could manage was to drive us into the nearest town to get a shared taxi – for which he charged us! (You may be able to find a Yandex taxi to take you there from Samarkand, but getting one to pick you up from the guesthouse is largely impossible. Plan accordingly.)
