La Casita Guennoun Kasbah

A lot of space for two people to enjoy with a fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable relaxing area and beautiful rooftop. The stairs could be difficult for those with mobility concerns or young children but we were two adults and had no trouble going up and down. The accommodation is nicely decorated with modern finished and looks just like the pictures! The home itself is quite easy to find due to its location just off of the main northernmost road of the kasbah. Walking out the front door, you are immediately part of the kasbah with many options for food just minutes away. The rental company office is also just next door which made communication and luggage storage easy!

The noise from the pedestrian alley that the house is on was noticeable at night. We visited during a school holiday and a small group of children/adolescents hung out just outside the house until 1:00 a.m. both mornings we stayed. We never felt unsafe but the noise of talking and kicking around balls could easily be heard through the windows. If you’re a heavy sleeper or comfortable sleeping in ear plugs, I imagine you’d be fine but it is worth considering if you’re looking for somewhere quiet during the night. Perhaps this wouldn’t be so noticeable if it wasn’t a school holiday.

The bathroom is horrible .Good luck if you wanna take a shower ....water is everywhere!!! Tiny rooms with no closet.

The location was good, within the Kasbah of Tangier. Beautiful view from the rooftop to the ocean. It looked quite authentic place.

The photos of the place are a bit misleading. Rooms all look quite spacious, but they are actually tiny. There is no place to keep your suitcase, so I had to keep mind it in the hallway almost blocking the stairway. There is not information about the fact that the whole apartement is spread out in 4 floors, with a very narrow and steep stairway leading to beadroom 1 on first floor, bedroom 2 on second floor, kichen on 3 floor and terrace on level 4. This is not a place for somewone with week knees and leg problems. At first it looked quite dangerous, but in the end you get used to it and the climbing between the floors. However this info should be available while booking the apartement.

We loved the rooftop terrace with views over the city and the sea.
