Nehansa Resort and safari

Everything! We had kind of late check in but they waited for us and welcomed us with coconut and cookies :) Our room had everything needed, it was so clean, spacious and cooled with AC. They arranged us safari that was amazing, our driver was super nice, told us a lot of interesting information, we even saw leopards 2 times

Very friendly and helpful staff. We booked with them a half day safari in Yala national park. They offered us free of charge an evening trip around the local lake where we could see some crocodiles, birds, bats etc.I recommend staying there🙂

Close to the main road for buses to / from the south coast. Nice clean rooms, good size. Very helpful staff, even dropped us off at the bus station & got our bags on for us! Good WiFi.

Still took a while on the jeep to get to Yala, start for safari was 4.40. Everything was great though, I’m being picky!

Struttura molto bella, camera pulita, semplice ma con tutto il necessario. Host e personale molto gentili, abbiamo fatto un tour del lago gratuito (molto consigliato). Abbiamo fatto anche con loro il safari allo Yala National Park, organizzazione perfetta!

Great place. Exceptional host. Took me for a tour in the evening to see bats, birds, and crokodiles on the house. The safari in the morning was perfect. He took me to the bus and wouldn't leave till I borded it. Easy communication via whattsapp. Look no further, book here.

LOVED our stay here - everyone was really kind and helpful. We ate lunch and dinner here which was very convenient and delicious. They showed us deer in their garden and Dilum took us on a “evening safari” around the lake to see the crocs, bats and birds! We also organised our safari through them and inbound/onward car - both were great. Highly recommend if going to Yala 😊

Als Willkommens-Drink haben wir eine Kokosnuss bekommen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Im Garten leben Hirsche, die uns bei der Ankunft gezeigt wurden. Abends haben uns die Gastgeber mit zu einem nahe gelegenen See genommen und uns dort verschiedene Vogelarten und Krokodile gezeigt - es war fast wie eine kleine Safari. Zum Abschluss fuhr der Gastgeber mit uns zu einem Platz, an dem bei Dämmerung viele Flughunde zu sehen waren. In der Unterkunft gab es auch Abendessen und vor der Safari um 4.30 Uhr einen kleinen Snack. Am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes wurden wir zur Bushaltestelle gefahren.

In der Umgebung gibt es nicht viel. Das Abendessen war nichts besonderes, aber die Gastfreundschaft hat das wettgemacht.

Was great value for its intended purpose which was a one night stay before Yala Safari. We booked the safari through Nehansa, and thoroughly enjoyed. Respectfully driver and took care of us in providing food and water. We even saw a leopard!! Air con room was great and they took us on a free evening tour of the lake to see bats, birds and crocodiles. Would recommend for anyone looking for a short stopover for safari tour.
