Breakfast exceeded my expectations. They serve Sapporo's local delicacies, and you can order a small bowl of miso ramen or a small pork rice bowl. In general, the breakfast buffet was very good. I highly recommend trying it at least once during your stay. Hotel staff was very accommodating. They know some English, but they will respond even better if you can speak Japanese. When my dad was having trouble with the laundry machine, I asked someone from the front desk for help, and she assisted us quickly and efficiently. I didn't get her name, but she was really helpful! Location was very good. The hotel is located right in the middle of a shopping street and you can just step out and go to a nearby drugstore or konbini if you want something. It's a short walk from the subway and streetcar too.

I think they could improve on the usability of the room. There were hardly any surfaces or hooks where you can hang clothes and other things, which is important when you're using a room for a week. I don't know if it was just my room, but housekeeping staff did not clean my room at all during my entire stay, even on the scheduled fourth day where they were supposed to clean it. They only changed towels and took out trash and that's about it. Walls are also a bit too thin between rooms. You can easily hear sounds and conversations from the hallway and neighboring rooms sometimes. The neighborhood, Susukino, is a very lively place at night. Suitable for young people who want a night out and drinks, but it can be a bit jarring for elderly companions who want some peace and quiet. The room lacks heating as well, and it can get quite cold even with the central A/C turned off. Thankfully, the beds are warm.
