Sandy Bay Caravan Getaway

The caravan was immaculate, comfortable and charming. Our host was great: welcoming, pleasant and accommodating. There is a lovely seaside walk from the site into Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. The site restaurant was good (staff and food), although we were there 'off season' so I wonder whether it would be packed in the summer months.

We received a map of the site by email. The map was blurry hard to read, and we floundered around the [quite large!] site upon arrival until we got to where we needed to be.

A beautiful caravan just like its photos with everything you need for a staycation. Bonus outside space if weather is good which for us it was. Lots of extras I didn’t expect like a bag of kids toys which my son loved. The beds were so comfortable too and had a great couple of nights sleep. Leaflets to help get an idea of the sandy bay facilities and other local attractions to help enjoy your stay. Close to the beach and to the facilities area. Loved the caravan location as it was quiet. Great communication from the host. Couldn’t do anymore to help. Lots of things to do for both adults and kids in the park regardless of the weather. We will be back in the future as we all really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for having us 🙂

Clean, comfortable caravan, host Paua was very helpful and responded to any requests promptly. Nice touches with welcome pack and caravan had everything you need such as toilet roll, washing up liquid, towels etc. Beds veey comfy.

Generous welcome back: croissants, jam, butter, milk etc .First class . Lots of games for toddlers too.

Very clean spaceless everything you could ever want and they even put goodies in like milk jam butter cookies even bubbles for the kids x toilet rolls towels t towels and lots more the beds were so comfortable had lovely sleep location was very quiet

I loved everything

We loved our stay here! The Caravan is spotless and had everything we needed. We had our baby with us and it wasn't any problem to request the cot, the bedroom was a really good size. Paula is an excellent host, and made sure we where all set for our stay. Collecting the keys was simple and we really appreciated all the extra little touches , such as the milk, orange juice, croissants etc that Paula left for our arrival. We can't wait to visit again and hopefully stay a bit longer! 2 nights wasn't enough.
