VC Heritage Ribeira Porto

The location was fantastic, 50m from the Douro river. We arrived outside of reception hours so were supplied access codes, super easy. We were also pleasantly surprised by the space inside our apartment which was clean and with comfortable beds.

The shower head wouldn’t stay in place on the rail. Reported it to reception when booking out so that it could be fixed for the next guests.

The staff could not have been more helpful. Always happy to help, gave us a Google map tour to follow and went above and beyond getting our room ready before check in as well as assisting with ensuring our luggage went off safely.

A little noisy early hours outside but clearly not the properties fault.

Brilliant location, literally 30 seconds from the water. I know others have mentioned the noise but personally we couldn’t hear anything at all from outside (we were on first floor). AC worked brilliantly and room was comfortable. We didn’t need to use the kitchenette but it was well stocked

Really beautiful small apartment — everything looks exactly like in the pictures. The view from the window is amazing. Everything is clean, tidy, and well-maintained. There was no dust or anything like that, so you can feel comfortable using and touching everything. The location is also great, making it easy to explore the city.

Not that strong WiFi, it barely worked actually. All the rest was great.
