The location was great exactly where we wanted to be with the added bonus being the property backed onto a large field/forest a really gorgeous and peaceful environment enabling easy walking access to the main road. The host Gareth - was always ready to assist going above and beyond any expectations. The hosts have a lovely woman working for them, Sookie (sp) who was also always willing to assist and provide advice if required. They have a very friendly cat, Ima, who would visit us for long periods of time she was very sociable and welcome. We managed to see 2 adult porcupines one evening in the garden, although the sighting was fleeting it was incredible as both my husband and I had not seen one before - they are really pretty large. A real bonus was the availability of wifi during the current SA crisis of Loadshedding - it really made those times less bleak and we were able to use the time more constructively. All in all we loved our stay and we look forward to one day re-visiting the property for another.

How quiet and serene it was. The place is immaculate and so cosy. I'll definitely stay there again. The view is amazing 😍

Super helpful and kind owner. He allowed us to stay later than the normal checkout time, provided a cot for our baby and provided lots of helpful suggestions. The internet also worked in load shedding.

The owner Gareth was very friendly, met us on arrival, gave us good advice about a good local beach and restaurants. The room was very nice and clean with all mod cons and comfortable bed. We were lucky enough to see a troop of baboons in the garden plus porcupine down the road when we got back after dinner!
