The location was excellent with a great view of mountains nearby. The hosts made us feel comfortable immediately although we were soaking wet. The place is very well kept and maintained - with small but very cozy interiors. Food is prepared by the hosts and it was delicious. Everything felt like a page from a storybook from the place, the amazing hosts and the little river stream nearby. It was everything I was looking for and more. Would highly highly recommend.

There is no WiFi or mobile reception which can be problem if you need it for work etc. For our group that wasn’t a problem and it was part of the experience.

The room was nice although small but you know that when booking. The place was modern and fresh. It was close to Kolsai lake but in nature and the views were amazing.

I feel like I stayed at a different hotel to others as we didn't experience what they did. 1 - I contacted the hotel through booking.com and whatsapp a day before we traveled and the day we traveled and they didn't respond to either of these, which was very disappointing as we were asking for some help. 2 - We only found the place due to the excellent directions left by others, surely if all guests are saying this, they want to do something about this and ensure all guests know how to reach them. When we knocked at the door, the lady just waved us in, didn't ask who we were and there was confusion as they tried to find us a room that was ready whilst we just stood there....it was 4pm. 3 - Staff didn't tell us anything, so we didn't know if we could have dinner or not or what time that was (I had asked about all this in the msg I sent which didn't get responded to). We only knew where breakfast was because we had seen people eating in there the night before. We didn't get told the time for breakfast either. 4 - Our only real interaction was as we left, we drove down the road and the guesthouse owner turned round to stop us. First to ask us if we had paid, then to check if all was ok. He spoke enough English so could have responded to my messages and offering advice as we are leaving is not very helpful. Hopefully others will have a much better experience than we did.

It is run by a family and every guest treated as the most valuable person. They serve really nice breakfasts. Rooms and all facilities are extremely clean. View is amazing I have never seen before. I read that some people complain that draining in bathroom is slow than they expected but you should take into account that you are in a national park 2000 meters above sea level in the middle of nowhere.

Location...wat a lovely place. And the hosts are very kind and nice. I would suggest everyone to book this place cause it is not that isolated and very closeby saty and kolsai and kaindy lake too.

Place is clean, staff is friendly, bed is comfortable and the view is so amazing!

location is picture perfect. hosts are very friendly and helpful. we will definately return. we would like a self catering accomodtaion as we prefer to stay long and cook our own food and explore the untouched prestine nature. very close to kolsai lake walks- 15 mins by vehicle. vehicle is a must to explore this region. few of our family members were vegetarians and they made yummy veggie food. we exploed cheryn and black canyon the way to this place from Almaty. we stopped at several location for pictures. very nice and ufferent terrains as we drive from Almaty

we liked everything here
