Smart and Convenient Ground Floor Apartment inside

My husband and I had a fabulous stay in this Lucca apartment for the first two weeks of August in this gorgeous apartment within easy walking distance of everything. It was very clean and uncluttered but beautifully styled with lovely character pieces that gave it a sense of uniqueness. The air conditioning was fantastic - we had 5 consecutive days of 39-40 degrees and that apartment was a cool haven! We loved having a toilet and shower each, and the washing machine and dryer was very useful. Using the moka pot on the stove every morning made us feel like real Italians! Manuel met us in person to hand over both sets of keys (super useful on occasions when we went out or returned at different times) and was welcoming, friendly and attentive for our whole visit. The information booklet was very comprehensive - with lots of helpful tips about where to eat & shop, and places to see in and around Lucca (including great day trip ideas). Although we rarely used it, the TV worked well, and we were able to stream our favourite show. The apartment is well situated in a quiet area with mainly pedestrian traffic, so we had blissful undisturbed sleep for our whole stay, and loved watching the world go by through the huge picture window!

Nothing - although a small coffee table for tea/coffee in front of the downstairs lounge chair would have been useful.

Amazing location in the centre of Lucas interior walls. Close to restaurants, cafes and even the train station. The property was clean and had all we needed. The management was very helpful as well.

Spacious apartment, ground floor, centrally located. Staff very attentive and helpful, easy check in/check out. They get a 10/10

Very uncomfortable bed, ridiculously high pillows , basic bathroom equipment not there (toilet roll holder, towel rack, shelvs in shower) but very powerful shower head which was great. 2 sofas but not a single coffee table to rest your cup of tea or a book and generally lots of empty space with no shelving for your travelling needs. Spent 8 nights there . Might be great in summer but in mid season we found it very cold and humid.

Everything! It was a beautiful little quaint apartment. The two bathrooms often proved useful and the little mezzanine to watch tv felt very cute and romantic. The additional touches of a wine bottle and toiletry package were very appreciated.

Be prepared to hear all the noise. 8am every morning noise comes through from the upstairs apartment, and you can hear people walking or cars on the road outside however it did not trouble us too much. The light in the mezzanine was a little dull but also added to the romance so can’t complain too much.

This was a lovely apartment, perfect for a couple. The check in process was easy and Manuel was very accommodating when we were delayed. The apartment is exactly what you see in the photos, is very cool, even without the aircon and was very clean. It is within easy walking distance of the bus station and the famous walls. We have been to Lucca many times and I would definitely stay here again

Small quip, but the pillows were very firm and uncomfortable. One suggestion for the property owners would be to add some shelving and hooks for storage as this was quite limited. A sweeping brush would be useful too!
