Kokotel Khao Lak Seascape

Excellent location directly at the best section of the beach, quiet area. Good breakfast, sufficient diversity (we stayed for 8 days, the menu was different each time).

Really enjoyed the breakfasts served at the restaurant on the beach. Very good choice with Thai & English menu. Delicious freshly cooked to order omelette or eggs etc..Plenty of fresh coffee , tea , juice & water. Also There was a fresh water machine outside the rooms on every floor providing free cold drinking water.

The bedroom could have been cleaner. It was very dusty, particularly unde the bed which was full of fluff etc. It was like that when we arrived & still the same when we left after 14 nights. Just seemed to get brushed under the bed every day !

Nice breakfast and next to the beach, we really enjoyed the stay.

Noisy hotel. No lift so you have to be able to manage your luggage via the stairs. Checkin / checkout is at the sister hotel. Rooms aren’t what they show on the photos much smaller No screen for shower so water goes everywhere in the bathroom and takes ages to drain away

When we arrived after a long journey and flight (2 adults, 1 small three-year-old child) to this hotel, we were told that they had no more rooms available and that they were fully booked. We had a reservation for 4 nights and it was fully confirmed on Booking. This was the first time I had such a situation. After discussions and about an hour, it suddenly turned out that our reservation and room were there. We were presented with a new bill, different than on Booking, and three times higher. After further discussions, I received a bill consistent with Booking and questionable information about some system error. My husband and I had the impression that it was a scam. Since I booked this hotel 10 months ago, I received a very good price through Booking, which apparently the managers of this hotel did not like and they tried to either discourage us from this accommodation or make us pay three times as much... after all, it was the beginning of January and all the places were already booked. In the end we stayed for 4 days but the bad taste remained. This Check in cost us 2 hours and a lot of stress.
