Imsouane Surf Slab Hostel

Very chill place!

It’s a nice budget stay in Imsouane - very chill vibe and the guys are super friendly and helpful, with renting surfboards, breakfast and laundry etc

Taha and Icho are both very friendly, open-minded and always willing to help. Icho also works at the best located surf-shop and we got good prices for board/suit rental. The food Taha cooks is delicious, just far too much for dinner. It was enough for dinner and lunch for the next day :)

When we first arrived the house looked like close from the outside and we just walked up to the roof-top to meet anyone. But we also missed a whatsapp message they sent, because we did not have internet. The room had an own shower, but no sink, which was a litte strange. The room was not very clean.

Hicham is the best host. I arrived at 2am, 2.5 hours later than planned because of my delayed flight. He was so kind to order food for me ahead of time so that I could have something to eat when I got in. He also was great about communicating and giving tips about when to surf.

Best hostel in Imsouane, no doubt! Extremely comfy beds, great wifi for working, everything is super clean and accessible. Location is amazing - the main beach is very close by but also the bars and grocery store are in a short walking distance. There's also a minimart right next door. Bathroom was clean with great water pressure. Overall everything was perfect with the accommodation, but the best thing about it was the host Taha. He would know what we needed before we knew it. Amazing breakfast at the time you ask for it and the kindest attitude towards all guests. If we had any questions or needed something, he would take it very seriously to figure it out, whatever it was. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but ended up staying for four. 10/10 would stay there again and recommend to others.

I have literally no complaints and I'm from the Baltics.

Our stay here was great. The room is really big and comfortable - everything was spotless clean, the private bathroom and the balcony were nice. There is also an ocean view! The hosts were really great, and we enjoyed spending an evening together, drinking moroccan tea and sharing travel stories. Also, they helped us with everything we needed - from recommendations of places to eat to other zones in Morocco worth visiting. They can even help you with surf equipment and lessons! Nonetheless, Imsouane is such a pleasant village, with amazing beaches and a laid-back atmosphere. ♥️
