Cwtch Cader Shepherds Hut

The host was wonderful. Great communication and quick to respond to queries. The location is great as it's only 15 minutes to Barmouth, and you have the lovely views of the mountains. There is a nice pizza place nearby as well. The bunk beds were very comfortable, and we all had a good night's sleep.

Unfortunately, we experienced a few issues during our stay, which were reported, and the owner was going to address them. The dining table collapsed on my sons legs as it didn't appear to be secured properly. The ladder to the bunk beds is not stable, and my other son slipped off when it moved. There were lots of cobwebs, and we also found dog poo left in the outside area, so it was not as clean as you would expect. The light switch in the top bunk bed was broken, which was a shame. The gate for the outside area is secured by a piece of rope and was not secure enough to keep our dog in.

The layout, design and location. Tidy clean and good facilities. I liked the settings and horses too.

Some of the lights didn't work inside and on the outside. It was fine but it would of been nice to have spent more time outside but no lighting made it difficult. But no big deal really, overall I really enjoyed our stay.

The hut was so much lovelier and roomier than I expected. Cooking facilities were brilliant and the table for 4 was a surprise, I don’t know how they fitted it all in! Comfy cosy beds and a great shower. a lovely vibe

A few minor things that need improving/replacing that has been raised to the host. From their response it seems they have taken the comments on board that will only serve the next guests well.

Amazing, very friendly and welcoming. Super cute surroundings. Loads to do in the area. Barmouth is amazing and we even ventured over to zipworld a 30 minute drive away

Everything was superb
