Cwtch Cader Shepherds Hut

The location is great with access to local shops about 4 miles away. As long as you have a car, that shouldn't be a problem.

I liked everything. Just think the accommodation could have a bit more room, especially in the sleeping area

The property was clean and the views were lovely. Its location was perfect. Easy access to barmouth & Dolgellau by car or by bike. Roughly a mile the Mawddach trail to Barmouth.

No blinds in the kitchen area which can be bright in the morning and woke us up both mornings. Also as that’s the only place to get changed so not very private with people in and out of the stables next door. Only one light that worked. Lights above the bed don’t work. and no outside lighting which when getting back late at night, was very dark. Also abit of a smell in the shower room . Bedding not ironed (small thing but I think this is just a minimum requirement)Rubbish left around the back of the property that could have been moved. We didn’t spend much time in the hut. If you are like us when away, like to relax on the sofa with the tv on after a long day then this property isn’t for you as there are neither. But that’s not the property’s fault as we could see it didn’t have a sofa on the photos. It was a clean hut and great location and the bed was comfy. Just the little things that I have mentioned would have made the price of the hut worth it.

Very cute and cosy Very modern and very well designed. Brilliant shower! Very clean and comfortable. Great location for the walks we went on. The yard was secure which we appreciated to have our dog loose.

Nothing major as the place is great and would definitely come back. Unfortunately the outside light didn’t work for us and so when sat outside it was very dark considering it goes dark at 8:30 now, but we left the lights inside on which gave us a little light. There was no blinds on the two windows in the kitchen area so there was some light coming in the morning. We took some camping chairs which I would recommend but they do give two outside chairs and a picnic table. The only other thing would be a sign on the road so it’s easier to find, other than that we had everything we needed and we had a lovely weekend. Thank you cwtch cader.

The location is fabulous with the most amazing views towards Cader Idris. The hut was finished to a high standard and incredibly clean and comfortable. Really appreciated the secure garden are so that the dogs could potter safely.

The only negative was the empty milk jug in the fridge. We assume that usually there would be milk to have a panad ( cuppa) after arriving. But the stay was virtually perfect!

Beautiful location. Comfortable bed.
