The location is very safe and is great access to the historical part of Palermo. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable and spacious.

Nothing at all really it was very good. Something to be aware of which wasnt for us is that the property is within a ZTL The property owner is exceptiinal in assiting in dealing with this and for a small fee it is sorted and the car is safely parked in the lpiazza very close by.

Everything was amazing, cleaned and ready for us.

The room was spotless and in an optimal location to see the major sites of Palermo. The Wifi was also wonderful, which was something we needed on our trip. Terrific air conditioning as well, with two units - one that controlled the master bedroom and another that controlled the rest of the house. There was also stellar light-blocking features - when you closed all the windows, you were in absolute darkness - perfect for sleeping. There was also a washing machine and dryer combo, which was unexpected but totally fantastic and much appreciated. Excellent shower too, and we never really ran out of hot water despite hearing that this was common in most of Sicily. And perhaps most importantly to me was that we had heard that Sicily has a cockroach issue, but we never saw any here, thank God...!!

This wasn't something controllable by the host, but the house had no soundproofing and we heard everything happening outside our window - this included construction work at 8am, loud talking between residents who shouted up to each other from the floors above, etc. I get the sense that this is the case in all of Italy, though, so I would still highly recommend this place. One very important detail, though. The listing in English says that free toiletries are included. The Italian translation seems to be different, as you only receive a couple rolls of TP and one small soap. If you use more, you're on your own so just keep that in mind. The host was very kind and still provided us with extras, but you should know this if planning a longer stay. The only other big thing that wasn't great for us is that when you leave, you have to shut off all the electricity, which also includes the laundry facilities. This means that you can't do the wash unless you're in the room. But let me stress the cleanliness again - this place was spotless and we highly recommend it in spite of the above.

It was completely renovated and new, super clean andconvenient, and practical in a great location. The rooms keep a fresh temperature that gives rest from the heat. The host is a true gentleman who gave great recommendations for restaurants and who even brought sweet Sicilian breakfast. The building has a lovely garden with basil and lemon smelling wonderfully. The check in was easy and well explained.

There is nothing we didn't like.
