"Great place for your holiday by the beach in Pozzallo."

Casa della Villa Pozzallo is a great place to stay - very nice, big apartment, in the centre of the town. Pietro is a wonderful host, gave us super recommendations for our stay (where to go for a drink, dinner and best gelato, what places near by to visit). I will recommend this place for family holiday or for two couples travelling together, apartment is spacious and comfortable.

"We defintely reccommed staying with Pietro at Casa della Villa Pozzallo!"

Pietro was a fantastic host who rushed from his work so as to meet us at the train station and drive our luggage to the apartment. He also gave us some bottles of water and food to get us started. He also was super kind in agreeing on changing our dates by one day when we found out the trains on the Syracuse-Caltanisetta line don't operate on Sundays (our original arrival day). The apartment was huge compared to all other places we stayed during our 3 week holiday (the hallway alone was the same size as some of our other accommodations). Very nice big balconies. We were only to adults and an infant but I guess at least some of the extra rooms, that we didn't have access to, fit more sleeping options making this accommodation ideal for a big group. If you are keen on Italian functionalism architecture this is the place to stay with original doors and ingenious solutions for hiding soap bars away from view int the bathroom (even the toilet roll holder could be folded in and had a built in cigarette holder/ashtray (don't worry! It hadn't been used in a long time and there was no smoke smell in the place). The kitchen had been recently renovated but the rest had its mid 20th century charm more or less intact. Incredibly centrally placed in Pozzallo making it good for shops and restaurants etc. Very close to a nice, long, shallow child friendly beach. Super price worthy in mid November!

If one doesn't like traffic noise this is the wrong place to stay. Being close to the main street it was a bit noisy at times.
