Although the staff were polite and helpful, I would not choose to stay at the Tea Library Hotel again, nor would I recommend it unless you are comfortable with the following: • No 24-hour reception: Between 10pm and 7am, there is no staffed reception. You must call the hotel to enter or exit the building during these hours. This was not stated anywhere in the hotel policies when I booked online, and it was an unpleasant surprise, as I value independence when travelling. • “Quiet hours” that aren’t quiet: The hotel designates 10pm–7am as quiet hours, yet staff may still be cleaning or chatting late into the night. Don’t expect to fall asleep easily. • Misleading “sea view”: The twin bedroom on the first floor is advertised as having a sea view - this is technically true only if you are willing to climb the balcony fence to catch a tiny glimpse of the ocean. • Severe construction noise: Directly outside the balcony, a new building is under construction. The noise from the workers is deafening from around 7am to 6pm. Stay here only if you’re curious to experience the ambience of a construction site - you may find big-city life peaceful afterward. • Poor management response: Management offered no solution to the noise issue and claimed they were unaware of the upcoming building works next door. I find this highly doubtful. In summary: If you’re looking for a restful holiday, this is not the place to book. The situation may improve once the construction next door is completed, so I recommend checking the status of the work directly with the hotel before making any reservations.

Отличный персонал и владелец. Приятный бутик-отель. На завтрак предлагают выбор - Шри-ланкийская еда или английские блюда. Были в нескольких отелях на Шри-Ланке, такого больше не видели. Спасибо за комфортный отдых.

位置很方便门口去海边 1 分钟，周边商店很多也有大型超市，工作人员很热情，每个人都在微笑，热情的打招呼，早餐很丰富，有两天胃不是很舒服早餐给我们做了热汤面，午餐和早餐可以单点，可以满足大多数人，分量很足味道很美味，房间干净整洁有个看海的阳台，卫生间宽敞热水很足，空调也很棒，有电视看，wifi 信号不错，是我们斯里兰卡一路住的最舒服的酒店，我们在这里度过了完美的 7 天，身心都得到了很好放松，感谢为我们提供服务的帅哥们！
