Gesail Barn and Farmhouse

Brilliant location. Surrounded by hills on three side and only one of the few properties in the valley. Barn and farmhouse both were well maintained and the surroundings were surreal with stream flowing in front and hills behind. You could see and hear the streams and the sheeps all the time. Garden and outside sitting is also very good. Had a great stay with my mates and we loved it. Best for quality time in nature away from hustle bustle of life!

Location was incredible...peaceful. The night sky was by far the best I have ever experienced. The Barn and Farmhouse had everything we needed. Although there was no TV we didn't miss it. The kids played outside and explored. It was lovely and warm, clean and cosy. The pub in the village which is a short drive away was very friendly and the food was homemade, hot and really good value for money. Lots of wildlife in the area and new born lambs. My youngest, who is 10 actually cried when we left and I'm not exaggerating. The little swing over the stream provided morning fun before we headed off further into Snowdonia during the day.

I can honestly say no complaints. We all loved it!

Locul este superb. Priveliștea este de vis. Am avut parte de trei zile minunate. Casa este exact cum trebuie. Recomand cu tot sufletul.

Outside chair ( metal) was broken and through sitting on it, I ripped my trousers 😕 Also I did ask at the time of booking for a second high chair, the host said they could organise one. But a day before our holiday I was told there was only one high chair , we have got twins !!!

Gesail Barn and Farmhouse has a unique charm with its traditional old farmhouse style, which could appeal to those who enjoy rustic settings. However, my stay was unfortunately overshadowed by serious hygiene issues. The kitchenware was very dirty — we had to spend a lot of time cleaning everything before use — and I even found a glass with lip gloss still on it. The bathrooms in the main house were also in poor condition and not properly cleaned. While the house has character, the lack of cleanliness made the stay uncomfortable and disappointing.

The location is amazing. Barn is super. Farm house was classic and cosy. the bedrooms were clean and comfortable.

Drainage was not good especially in bath.
