I arrived on time but there was no one at reception. I was asked by bellboy to wait for the manager. I spoke to the manager over the phone but he never arrived. I left the luggage their and went to attend the meeting and checked in late in the evening. The manager was never apologetic on his behaviour. And I never got to freshen up before the meeting. Bathroom was leaking. No towels. Overall accommodation was poor

Nothing at all. Don't trust these people. Appalling behaviour. They gave our room to someone else. Compulsive liars. Be careful! They don't care about bookings. If someone comes in physically, they will give your room.

When booking, I clearly stated arrival time after midnight, due to work and flight times etc. I get a call at 8pm from the property, confirming whether we will be coming. We were on the way to the airport and I said, yes we will be there. We reached the hotel. And reception started to play games. Saying 'are you sure you have a booking?' and the like. It became clear very quickly that they had given our room to someone else (maybe even the 3 individuals stood in front of me in the queue I will never know). I showed my booking etc and he was insisting that we didn't have a booking. I called the number I received the initial phone call at 8pm and the mobile phone right in front of the receptionist on the desk started ringing. He then changed tone and said 'we don't have any rooms' and kept this up till the end. Not accepting or being honest at what has happened. Anyways, I didn't have time to waste as I had my wife and two very young daughters with me. Never have we been put in such an uncomfortable/scary situation, especially the fact that it was the first time in the region. Please be careful with these people when booking. Also, receptionist and other staff had no sympathy or empathy whatsoever, and simply tried to ignore the issue mentally. Absolutely apalling. Booking.com weren't topo helpful too to be honest... but we sorted ourselves out after.
