Peaceful Mariposa Home near Yosemite National Park

The house is nicely decorated and fully furnished with a cozy, homey vibe. It has a piano, a record player, a dishwasher, a washer-dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. Check-in is easy and hassle-free. It’s not far from Mariposa, but about an hour’s drive to Yosemite—so a bit of a drive. But if you’re looking for a peaceful spot to relax, this place is just right.

Quite far from Yosemite

Absolutely perfect for our stay in Mariposa. Loved the kitchen, a nice change to be able to eat in (although there are great options in Mariposa and Oakhurst). Beautifully quiet, Loved the wildlife in the garden. Only an hour and 15 though the valley entrance to Yosemite. Loved it so much we changed our plans to stay longer which Adam helped facilitate. Comfortable beds and so much space. Would happily stay here again.

Knew about the lack of curtains so packed eye masks to sleep with. Wish there was a recycling bin outside.

Such a beautiful, clean home! Everything felt super cozy- it was such a nice relaxing stay. The beds and pillows were comfy too. I definitely want to stay here again.

Very comfortable, spacious and well equipped house. Rural location so quiet. We were staying here while visiting Yosemite National Park and after a full day in the park, it was lovely to go back to a nice peaceful home and relax.

The curtains throughout the house were thin, white fabric and let in a lot of light. Not a problem in the kitchen and lounge areas but in the bedrooms, we would have preferred heavier curtains to keep out the light in the mornings. We like to sleep in complete darkness, so black out curtains would have been better. The Nespresso like coffee machine was not working when we arrived. We did see this mentioned in earlier reviews and expected this might have been fixed before we arrived but not so. These are the only reasons we gave a rating of 9 and not 10. The house is a 1 hr drive to the entrances to the park. Then it is another 30 minutes to the visitor center in the park. We knew this when we booked and so it was as expected for us. I mention it here so that others are aware, the house is a drive away from the park.

The house was perfect for our weekend. It was exactly as described and we couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks Adam!!

The home was beautifully decorated, extremely clean, had the perfect touches of home (coffee, soaps/shampoos, robes, etc) and offered a great space to sleep, relax, and eat. I would recommend this property to everyone - it was perfection.
