The openness and private and quiet setting of the property. Also the bed and pillows the most comfortable I have slept in. Well self contained with everything you need.

No complaint at all. The bedroom ranch slider needs fixing as it didn’t lock. Also it might be a good idea to put in a microwave.

Ocean view. Grassy area with a fire pit overlooking the ocean and outdoor chair and rug provided so that you can enjoy the view. Cosy bedroom in a quiet area made for a good nights sleep. Host checked in to make sure that everything was ok.

Initially concerned about the potential for a yoga retreat based on the description and visuals, I was relieved to find this accommodation perfectly suited to my diving needs. While not aiming for 100% perfection, the comfortable bed, serene atmosphere, internet access, and the pleasant surprise of a tree to organize my dive gear met my requirements. Despite minor inconveniences like missing conditioners and toothpaste typically found in hotels, I am well-prepared, and this doesn't bother me. Considering the reasonable price paid, the value here is remarkable. Its proximity to Tutukaka Marina aligns with my criteria, making it a top choice for future diving trips. While I'd prefer to keep this gem to myself, I must admit it's my go-to spot for Tutukaka diving adventures. On a side note, the owner graciously lent me a garden hose and repeatedly checked if I needed anything. A sincere thank you for the warm hospitality. P.S. If you're open to suggestions for improvements, feel free to reach out. Otherwise, looking forward to my next visit.

Not much The bed was comfortable

I couldn't find the light switch in the kitchen area The front door key didn't work There was no microwave There was no kitchen work surface

We liked the Bach boho feel and would recommend this stay to anyone wishing to explore the Tutukaka Coast. So much in a small area. The essentials are there and it wasn't hard to work out what we needed. No TV was great as we had a radio. Not for everyone but wake up to moreporks tuis and a rooster. Nature's heart beats here. Easy to sleep in the dark cool quiet as the bed was so comfy.

A grill and bake small oven would be good and a few plugs would be useful Hard to wash dishes or shave without these.

Quirky, easy, clean, spacious. Comfortable and warm bedroom.

Breezy/drafty/cold kitchen-living area - had to rug up well for dinner and breakfast! Missing some utensils, like a vegetable peeler, a grater and a fish-slice for use with the pan. Also a pot/pan scrubber pad would be useful, for clean up.

I really loved the way the accommodation was decorated the plants and art work. So private and the bedroom was cosy with a comfortable bed. Loved the peanut slabs in the fridge.

Hot water was not working when we first arrived, but was quickly sorted. Wifi dropped in and out a bit.
