Cosy flat in Innerleithen

The bed was comfortable,the kitchen was nice. The living space was decent but decor was very dark.

The very small shower bath was ridiculously small and unsafe,easy to slip because of the shape and not easy to move around in.The outside of the property was very untidy,it looked like a council flat which is what it used to be, not very appealing at all, the grass needed cut and there was weeds everywhere.Totally off putting although the flat was adequate and would not use the property again.

Convenient location. Spotlessly clean.

We booked it originally because it was just around the corner from our son, we'd brought up my father in law to stay with him for the week so thought it would be nice to give them some quality time together. Having said that it's in a great location, great for walks along the old railway line nearby woodland walks, and Glentress. Innerleithen is a short walk away, great choice of cafes, shops and pubs. Everyone we met was so lovely even just walking through the neighbourhood. We were there during the festivities of St Ronans week, it was lovely to see all the decorated houses. Apartment was clean, very comfy and peaceful. Everything you could want for a week away. Bed was super comfy, had the best weeks sleep.

The bath is super cute, as only half the size of a normal bath with a seat at one end, bit awkward and dodgy to get in and out of to use the shower.

Very clean and well equipped. Close proximity to amenities in the town.

Some neighbouring properties run down and unkempt.

Really spacious flat, quiet little village. I loved the main bedroom, it was really comfortable and the wardrobes were ample storage. Lovely place, there was always a spot to park on the street though I believe the driveway comes with the property. The kitchen had everything I needed for home cooking, the lounge room was cosy. The washing machine with provided laundry pods was amazing! Definitely follow their advice of leaving the key in the key safe as you will never get locked out.

It was a tad noisy with the people overheard but I didn’t really mind, they were only noisy through the day, no problems in the evening/night. Oh and the shower was awful, hardly any pressure at all, I had to wash the conditioner out in the sink.
