Hotel Tara Palace Redfort

The room was comfortable and clean.

-The staff at reception was very helpful and profesional. The rest of the staff not so much (and for some reason they kept trying to sell me alcohol). -There is only room service, and they had ran out of several dishes. -There is a lot written about the location in the other comments. The hotel is indeed located in a more abandoned area, but I never felt unsafe walking around there. A bigger problem might be that it is not that easy to explain the address to drivers, and several streets in the area where closed. So expect to walk part of the route when you arrive. There is a metro station at a convenient distance. To summarize: the location is no issue for people who have been travelling already for a while in India with limited luggage, but is not ideal for people just arriving in India, travelling with heavy luggage, or women travelling solo.

dirty no toilet roll, no coffee tea facilities brick wall straight in front of window!! annoyed that we lost our money

personnel was not professional and trying to take advantage of us. when asking the possibility to take a shower after check out they demanded 1000 roupies… not customer friendly. poor service from that person at the front desk on the 13th Of October 22.
