Quirky spacious ground floor Victorian garden flat

Our host could not have been more helpful, she made additional arrangements for us to have champagne and flowers waiting for us as it was our tenth wedding anniversary. She was immediately on hand to answer other questions we had too if we needed help. The property was beautiful, and we felt so comfortable and at home. We would have loved to stay longer.

Size, location, quirky art work and out side area. Nespresso coffee machine (but only 3 coffee pods)

The owner contacting us before we arrived “ asking us to respect her home and not to force open locked cupboards” The accommodation felt mean,furnishings were sparse and uncomfortable & old. Only 4 coffee cups and other kitchen stuff that looked like the left overs from a garage sale. Towels were old and thin. The owner contacting us the night before, asking us to take the rubbish out and strip the beds (if we had time) before check out.

Spacious home with a sweet little backyard space where we were surrounded by trees and squirrels. Very quiet neighborhood. Good ventilation in the house. Easy 25-minute walk to downtown or a bus stop just around the corner. Train station just 7 min walk away.

It was a great stay. The only thing to note is that it is the bottom floor flat in an older home with poor sound proofing. Therefore, we could hear the upstairs neighbors quite clearly (and I assume they could hear us). Luckily, they are a quiet older couple, but we did awake to their loud snoring overhead at night and creaking floorboards whenever they got up. So, if you are a light sleeper, you may prefer earplugs. Otherwise, all was splendid!

Quiet area

From start of the booking process until we left the property we (4 people) were impressed with the host and the property. The property was spacious, extremely clean and well looked after. The beds were very comfortable and although the living room was amazing, we spent most of our time sat in the kitchen with the patio doors open - a blessing in the heat! Thank you! (And apologies I think I left some milk in the fridge 🙈)

Beautiful flat, spotlessly clean and so well equipped.

We had a very comfortable 10 night stay. The flat had everything we needed to make us feel at home.

Lovely old fashioned property with high ceilings, sanded floorboards, open fire, really well decorated with lovely bijou touches throughout. Fittings in kitchen and bathroom modern and practical. Comfortable stay, easy entry, good communication.

Think the extractor not working in bathroom, steam and water dripping everywhere but couple of windows there to open.

Lovely house, comfortable and warm

Location which is very close to train station and bus stop. Overall cleanliness and feel/vibe of the property. The property feels spacious and has all modern home comforts. The garden is a particularly nice feature.
