Courtyard by the Basilica

The apartment was very cosy and homey. Location was 10/10 in the middle of everything, walking distances. Very quiet and lots of natural light

The apartment floors were not cleaned very well, some toiletry stuff were not prepared in the needed quantities for 4 people and the 4 day stay (like toilet paper). There were no trashbags available in any bin or cabinet.

Un 10 se nos queda corto. Si tienes la suerte de tenerla libre, reserva. La casa es maravillosa para visitar Budapest, no puede tener más luz y todas las comodidades que puedas desear. Estuvimos 5 adultos y todos apreciamos al máximo la comodidad del apartamento, con dos habitaciones totalmente preparadas y un salón y cocina muy grandes para pasar los descansos y comentar el día. Totalmente equipada, lavadora, lavavajillas, nevera…todo, todo. Como en casa. La ubicación es maravillosa, a 10 metros de la Badilica y en todo el centro para visitar, comer, cenar, o hacer cualquier actividad que pudiéramos pensar. Sin duda recomendaremos la estancia a nuestro amigos y familia. Gaya, la anfitriona, nos ayudó rápida y positivamente con cualquier duda o petición que le consultamos. Mil gracias

The apartment itself was very nice and convenient.

The apartment is on the top floor so heat rises. We turned the AC on but because it gets turned off when people aren’t in it - it naturally takes longer to cool down a house; more than just 3/4 days. We were in stoves, I’ve truly never been more hot in my life and I’m originally from Hungary so I know that an apartment can be cooled down in different ways. It was so unbearable some nights that I woke up at 4:30 AM in heat sweats and had to jump into the cold shower immediately because I couldn’t breathe. This really really should be addressed with at least a fan, two fans would be enough to make a comfortable stay.

Location is great. Very central.

The lock in the door to the floor where the apartment was situated was tricky. Luckily a lovely lady helped us. The bins under the plastic bags were dirty.

The matresses were extra firm..This is the only thing I would say

We had a small problem with the main door which was quickly resolved.
