Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa

Great accommodation! Very friendly people, super clean and nice little villas and the first time I had perfectly working wifi in Sri Ianka! Food was great too and the property is super calm and beautiful. Just a short walk away from an amazing beach without many tourists.

Na zakończenie mojej podróży po Sri Lance szukałam miejsca, które pozwoli mi się wyciszyć, odpocząć i po prostu… być blisko natury. I trafiłam w dziesiątkę! To miejsce to prawdziwa oaza spokoju – piękne, kojące i pełne uroku. Mój domek był otoczony zielenią – palmy, kwitnące rośliny i śpiew ptaków tworzyły bajkową atmosferę. Zewsząd cisza i spokój, które pozwalały na głęboki oddech i prawdziwy reset. Na terenie posiadłości rozłożone są hamaki – idealne do leniwego popołudnia z książką i szumem liści w tle. Sama willa? Przepiękna, bardzo przytulna i zaaranżowana z ogromnym wyczuciem. Przestronna łazienka, wygodne łóżko… Spałam tam jak dziecko! Czułam się dopieszczona w każdym detalu. Właściciele to cudowna, ciepła rodzina – serdeczni, pomocni, otwarci. Opowiedzieli mi mnóstwo ciekawostek o okolicy, życiu lokalnych mieszkańców i pomogli zorganizować mój ostatni transport na lotnisko. Ich gościnność naprawdę poruszyła moje serce. Na miejscu można zamówić śniadania, lunche i kolacje – i to nie byle jakie! Jedzenie jest przepyszne – świeże, lokalne i przygotowywane z pasją. Każdy posiłek był kulinarną przygodą! A porcje? Oj, są naprawdę solidne – więc przychodźcie głodni 😊 A wisienką na torcie był… paw! Codziennie o tej samej porze dumnie spacerował po ogrodzie, dokładnie wtedy, gdy jadłam śniadanie. Jego obecność sprawiała, że czułam się jak w jakiejś baśni. Z całego serca polecam to miejsce każdemu, kto pragnie choć na chwilę zatrzymać się w biegu, odetchnąć i nacieszyć się prawdziwym pięknem. Mam ogromną nadzieję, że kiedyś tam wrócę!

Eine wirklich bezaubernde und familiäre Unterkunft, die wir uns schöner nicht vorstellen könnten. Die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet top gepflegt und blitzsauber. Hervorzuheben ist das unglaublich gute Essen, sowohl zum Frühstück als auch Abends. Toll war auch der Kontakt zu Sandhu, dem Sohn der Familie, der das Homestay gehört. Die Chalets sind eingebettet in einen unglaublich schönen Garten (Affen und Pfaue sowie kreisende Adler inklusive) und nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt von einem Traumstrand (Dahlia bis Rekawabeach). Felspools mit Bademöglichkeit sind ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar... Wenn wir könnten, hätte wir hier auch 12/10 Punkte vergeben – wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

A Peaceful Jungle Escape – Highly Recommend! We had our own spacious, super clean, and modern bungalow at Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa – easily the best Wi-Fi of our whole trip! The place is run by a lovely family who really care about their guests. The food is tasty, high quality, and very reasonably priced. The jungle surroundings are beautiful, with gray monkeys often playing nearby. It's also a great spot for visiting wild turtles at Tangalle Beach. If you need a kayak, scooter, or local tips – just ask! We loved our stay and would absolutely come back.

Nuestra experiencia en este alojamiento ha sido simplemente maravillosa. Es un lugar único, lleno de encanto, con un entorno natural precioso y una zona de jardín extremadamente cuidada, perfecta para desconectar y sentir paz. El desayuno nos pareció excelente, no solo por su sabor y presentación —muy cuidada—, sino también por su precio razonable, especialmente si se compara con otras opciones de la zona. Todo está pensado con mimo y se nota el gusto por el detalle. La atención ha sido exquisita, en especial por parte de Sandhu, un joven encantador que, junto a su familia, actúa como un verdadero anfitrión. Siempre pendiente de que todo esté perfecto y que no te falte nada. Su trato cercano y amable hizo toda la diferencia. Nos alquilaron una moto a un precio justo (el habitual en la zona), lo cual fue muy cómodo para movernos. Aunque el alojamiento está algo apartado, para nosotros fue ideal: tranquilo, sin ruidos, y lo más sorprendente… ¡el único lugar en toda la isla donde pudimos dormir sin oír perros ladrando toda la noche! Descansamos como en ningún otro sitio. La playa está a unos 10 minutos andando, así que también es accesible sin necesidad de transporte si te apetece caminar. En resumen, un rincón con alma, ideal si buscás tranquilidad, belleza natural y un trato humano excepcional. Totalmente recomendable.

The host met us upon our arrival and not only gave us the keys but showed us around the villa and property.

That we couldn't stay longer..... Had to return home.... but this place felt like home and we loved it!

Beste verblijf die we in Sri Lanka hebben gehad. Je eigen huisje op een leuk resortje. Ze zijn echt heel aardig en regelen alles perfect. Wij voelde ons hier heel erg fijn.

Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Die Familie ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage ist soo schön und sehr gepflegt. Die Villa ist top ausgestattet und war die sauberste Unterkunft die wir in unserem Urlaub hatten. Man läuft 10min zum Strand, das Essen ist auch super lecker.
