The Shelter Stone Cottage

The property was spotless and incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside at the patio suntrap listening to the birds. It was very quiet and peaceful with easy walking access to shops. Shelter Stone is highly recommended.

It was a lovely cottage warm and homely. In a super location, with a enclosed garden. An easy walk into Aviemore and surrounding area.

We had to leave

It was everything we needed, clean, comfortable, well presented with all the facilities we could need. The owner was very helpful - arranged to meet us with the key at our arrival time and had even opened the door ready so we could run straight in from the rain! There is off street parking and the cottage is set back from the road with a wall at the front, so it wasn’t noisy and I didn’t have to worry about the children and the road.

Really central, perfect for a weekend for a wedding. Glad there were recycling facilities on site and everything was clean, tidy and comfortable

Only slight criticism was no black out blinds (at least in the twin room).

Strangely the radiators were turned off. Turned them on and everything nice and cosy .
