Airport Hotel Shivaka Inn

Huuge beds. We were with a 2yo child and took a family room to have 2 beds, but we could easily fit in the standard room. Also it was convenient to have a cafe on 5th floor, looked more trustworthy for us to eat there :)

The family room is situated right after the reception desk, so you hear every Phone call, conversation etc. We asked to call for a taxi to the airport, which in the end arrived 1 hour later, fortunately we were not in hurry (maybe it's problem not of the hotel, but of taxi in general, but keep that in mind if you need to plan something) Noise from the street - in the morning you will hear everything if you're on the 1st floor in the family room

Location is in a red light district area, not safe for females. Rooms were dirty walls had stains on them and smelled bad. I changed my room and it still smelled bad. Bedsheets were stained. Toilet was not clean and the toilet seat had been used to put out a cigarette and a hole was there. Towel provided was dirty Not worth the money theres nothing nearby its in the village area inside an alley. Originally I booked for 7 nights but i had to get out of there so at check out they made me pay for two nights and alittle more extra anyway. Staff were rude and aggressive when i tried to leave saying i had booking for this many days. I asked them to just cancel my booking and others can book, you wont have a loss. They said its impossible. Save your money book somewhere else. All the good reviews are probably by staff. Road outside is dirty. Difficult to locate for cabs because no one comes here. Also they lie on address saying its in aerocity. The address is wrong it is in mahipalpur outside of aerocity. Photos dont match reality. Maybe by their standards its a good hotel but you can do much better, please go somewhere else.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. They helped us get a late night meal delivery after we had some difficulty ordering food with a US phone number. It was a quiet hotel in an alley off a busy street. Hot water and comfy bed, nice tv too. Excellent price to value ratio. They even gave a little gift when we left :)

There was a bit of a smell in the room and the air conditioner made a loud rattling noise. It was about 30 minutes from the airport with traffic.
