Barmouth Bay Holiday Park by Away Resorts

We had a Superior 2 bedroom Van. The Van was well stocked with microwave, Air friar as well as the cooker. It was comfortable enough although I could feel a spring in the double bed. ( As I was by myself I was able to avoid this.). We had a lovely view over the fields and hills. The park was

Having read fantastic reviews from people saying that their Superior Vans had wonderful decking I wrongly assumed that all Superiors had decking. I was wrong. Ours didn’t. We spent the blazing hot week being unable to sit outside in the evening., sadly no choice but to sit inside and cook. It didn’t help that all the time the boiler was on for hot water the bathroom towel rails were blasting out heat. There was no way to turn them off. Cold showers then. The fire alarm kept going off . First one then another. The service engineer sorted the first one. The second one had to be dismantled. He was a very nice man as we’re all the staff.

Where the caravan was situated lovely and quiet , the caravan park lovely and clean and near the beach .
