Divine House amalfi coast

A beautiful and very comfortable place, with a nice view over the town, mountains and ocean and practical cooking opportunities, perfect for an extended stay.

The WiFi was unstable and stopped working.

The town of Raito is great, authentic, not overly touristed, a perfect little seaside Amalfi coast town away from the summer crowds. The host was responsive, showed up promptly and answered all our messages. Cool little water refiling station just nearby. Nice bed & furnishings, updated, working kitchen and decent sliver of Amalfi to look at through the window without paying FULL Amalfi pricing. Worth comparing to other options in town when making your decision.

Some things to know: 1) The addres is not precise (pbly difficult to do, as with many small old towns), but the host meets you nearby in a short period of time and will guide you. 2) Without a car you will need to learn how to buy bus tickets at the local Tabaccheria places in order to ride & prepare for them to be irregular by having plan B's and arriving with ample time to miss a connection. 3) It is a re-model of an OLD building, in an old town, so water pressure will come and go, meaning you need to shower and flush toilets when the pressure is good. 4) The stove has a lock Mechanism thst shows "Lo", watch an on line video if needed. 5) The view is partial, not full, so if you want an "Un-obstructed" panoramic view, this isn't it, but it's cozy and updated inside and you get a nice little sliver to gaze out at. 6) It's small, but affordable, & has a working kitchen. Good little hillside camp to venture out from, but not a spot for homebodies. If you just want to save money, have a decent view & be in a charming peaceful place to venture out from than this is a workable option, otherwise you need to spend more or look elswhere in Raito (there are other options) for what you want. 7) Overall, reasonable value for money, the town it's self seals the deal, and is what scores this property so highly. The unit is new & clean with a partial view and functioning kitchen, so does not impede an enjoyable stay, for more luxury, pay more or look elsewhere.
