It is a 5 * Hotel with a 7* hospitality. If you prefer peace and quiet and breathe clean air in Kathmandu, this is the hotel for you. It is located on a hill which may make walking uphill a bit difficult for some, but it is well compensated by the most beautiful sunset you can see over the mountains on the other side.

My recent stay at Lemon Tree Budhanilkantha was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel at home. A special highlight was the beautiful birthday celebration arranged by the team — such a thoughtful gesture that made my day truly memorable, especially as I was traveling solo. 💛 Being vegetarian, I was deeply touched by the care taken to arrange customized vegetarian meals for both breakfast and dinner throughout my stay. The food was delicious and made with love. Every team member I interacted with was kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable during my entire 5-day stay. From room service to front desk, their attention to detail and heartfelt care left a lasting impression. Thank you, Lemon Tree Budhanilkantha, for making my Nepal trip so special. It’s lil far from city centre so cab service bit difficult some time. Otherwise it’s excellent. Limited veg options in dessert but team helped a lot to arrange other relevant.

The location gives you a wonderful view of the city. Property is elegant and clean, rooms are very confortable. Very good breakfast and room service. The staff is adorable, kind and professional, specially at the reception. Congratulations!!!

I stayed here as a travel agent, and I would highly recommend. The free room upgrade was very nice. Beautiful big room with balcony and a lovely view especially at sunset. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, and housekeeping each day. Breakfast was good but not much choice for western travellers (only omelette, waffles & cereal) Staff were helpful and friendly They also have a lovely spa & rooftop pool. Only issue is for couples the ladies & mens jacuzzi, steam room & sauna is separate.

If you don’t have a car it’s difficult to get taxis as it’s very far out, I found taxi drivers would ask for more money on top of the fare. I could hear construction noise and music on some occasions but not a real issue as I had ear plugs
